Day One Day Treatment is an outpatient mental health program designed for people with mental illness, who demonstrate a need for a semi-structured environment. Objectives of the program include Cognitive-Behavioral and psychoeducational groups for social skills building, communications skills, and healthy living. 

Day One participates in a wide range of therapeutic services, which are provided by a multidisciplinary team of clinicians.  Services include:  individual assessments, treatment planning, individual and group therapy, and discharge planning.  Case management services are an integral part of the support provided to people with limited access to consistent supports in the community.  Group homes or other community treatment providers typically refer Day One participants. Day One affords participants a unique opportunity to be empowered to learn skills that will support move to higher quality of living and independence. 

The program is located at 11 Union St. in Lawrence, MA. The day begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 3:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. For more information, or to make a referral, please contact Donna Grant, LICSW, and Program Director at 978-688-4628.
