The Counseling Center is TPC's outpatient Clinic.  We are a multi-service, multi-cultural, bilingual center that is committed to the health and well-being of the communities we serve. Our mission is to provide science-based programs and interventions to people who are experiencing mental health, substance use and addiction, or other problems in living so they can respond to the stressors that they experience in the home, school, workplace, and society with resilience and pro-social, adaptive behavior. We are committed to effective, evidence-based interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Behavioral Medicine approaches.

     The Counseling Center provides specialized individual and group services for people who are experiencing a wide range of mental health and/or substance use and addiction problems. We offer comprehensive assessments, individual, group, family, and couples therapy, and medication services. We assist our clients in developing skills to cope with stress, anxiety, and depression. We are experienced in the treatment of trauma and abuse, relapse prevention, chronic disease and pain management, relaxation and imagery, and such diagnoses as ADHD, Bereavement, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, and Panic Disorder. We are diverse and family-centered and involve cultural dynamics, issues of immigration, acculturation, and assimilation a part of all treatment planning.
