A 26-week course of outpatient substance abuse counseling for clients convicted of a second Driving While Under the Influence (DUIL) offense, and has completed or is waiting for admission to a 14-day Second Offender Residential Treatment Program. The court makes referrals. The Second Offender program entails comprehensive assessment and evaluation, psycho educational counseling groups, and individual abstinence-oriented counseling to reduce and eliminate driving while under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.
